Job Summary:
The Emergency Services Administrative I position provides secretarial support, coordination, and follow through for Emergency Services office processes; including administrative support to Emergency Services Medical Director, Emergency Physicians group, Administrator, Emergency Services Managers, and Clinical Nurse Specialist/Educator
Education:
Required
Associate Degree in Business or Office Management or comparable combination of education and experience. Proficiency in written and mathematical processes as may be reflected by an Associates Degree in Business or Office Management, or demonstration.
Preferred
Specialized courses in computer systems, accounting, and business communication
Experience:
Required
Five years administrative experience, preferably in an executive setting.
Preferred
Familiarity with Payroll and Human Resource functions
Healthcare or Medical Terminology background

Department Position Summary:
The Emergency Services Secretary 1 position provides secretarial support, coordination, and follow through for Emergency Services office processes; including administrative support to Emergency Services Medical Director, Emergency Physicians group, Administrator, Nurse Managers, and Clinical Nurse Specialist/Educator.
These functions, include but are not limited to: Central contact for Medical Director and management of medical director calendar, coordination of resident schedules and training, assist with CQI reports including 72 hour returns, management of daily logs and reports including transfer logs, Completion of KRONOS/Payroll, Microsoft office competency, initial contact for complaints, management of mail, Staff compliance reports, mail outs.
Clinical competency is evaluated annually using a variety of mechanisms. It focuses on the population-specific needs of the customers served by the staff member.
