Overview The Occupational Therapy (OT) department in the Touro University School of Health Sciences (SHS) is hiring an Administrative Assistant for OT Fieldwork. The Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to the Academic Fieldwork Coordinator of the Occupational Therapy Program. The position is hybrid (in-person and virtual).
Responsibilities Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Assist the Academic Fieldwork Coordinator in managing fieldwork operations and related events, as requested
- Efficiently facilitate the execution of contracts and memorandums of understanding related to fieldwork
- Establish and maintain organized electronic document management systems and accurate data related to fieldwork (ie: EXXAT)
- Receive, review, and accurately maintain documents related to fieldwork submitted by students
- Assist the Academic Fieldwork Coordinator with obtaining program evaluation data and accreditation duties
- Assist Academic Fieldwork Coordinator's communication with fieldwork sites and with students related to reserving and securing placement, distributing information and forms, receiving and appropriately referring inquiries
QualificationsEducation/Experience - High School or GED Diploma with a minimum of 2 years of related experience.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities - Strong interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organization and time management skills.
- Ability to prioritize workload according to volume, urgency, and importance.
- Ability to proficiently manage electronic data, software, resources and platforms.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook), Zoom, and Cloud based systems.
Travel - Occasional travel is required between the NY and Long Island campuses.
Maximum Salary USD $51,493.00/Yr.
Minimum Salary USD $41,194.00/Yr.
