Now Hiring: Administrative Assistant - Construction Industry (New Jersey-Based Projects)

A well-established site and utility contractor based in New Jersey is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support internal operations and assist in managing project documentation and coordination efforts.

Position Summary:

This role will provide day-to-day administrative support to the office and project management team, ensuring that documentation, scheduling, and communication flow smoothly across active job sites.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Assist with tracking project timelines, RFIs, submittals, and documentation
  • Maintain organized electronic and physical filing systems
  • Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and internal team members
  • Prepare and manage correspondence, reports, and meeting notes
  • Support permit applications, compliance documentation, and related tasks
  • Perform general office duties (phones, ordering supplies, scheduling)
Ideal Candidate Will Have:
  • Previous experience in construction, excavation, or related industry (preferred)
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • A proactive, dependable, and professional approach to supporting a fast-paced team

Location:

Based in New Jersey - must be able to commute to the office daily.
