About the Opportunity:

Prime Personnel Resources is assisting a company that has an opening for an Administrative Assistant. This is a full time, temp-to- hire opportunity. This individual would provide administrative support to the shipping, inventory, and customer service operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to build administrative experience in a fast-paced environment and grow within a company. No extensive prior experience is required-just a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and basic familiarity with Microsoft Office. Training will be provided.

Key Areas of Accountability

  • Assist in preparing shipping documents, including: shipping tickets, bills of lading, affidavits of origin.
  • Help with entering daily shipment and production data into QuickBooks
  • Support the creation of packing lists and invoices
  • Help monitor customer open orders and maintain inventory tracking
  • Assist with export documentation such as: certificates of origin, commercial invoice and packing lists, and customer specific forms.
  • Communicate with internal teams (shipping, packing, inspection) and external partners (customers, trucking companies)
  • Support with scheduling and resolving basic shipment-related issues

Education and/or Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Basic computer skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Willingness to learn inventory and data entry systems (training provided)
  • Good communication and time management skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and solve problems as they arise
  • A professional, dependable, and positive attitude
  • Attention to detail in data entry and detail oriented in providing information
