POSITION TITILE: Administrative Assistant

DEPARTMENT: Family Support Worker

REPORTS TO: Assistant Executive Director

QUAIFIFCATIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities

Summary: Assist the Assistant Executive Director in the management of all FSS's programs.

Duties
  1. Perform a variety of program functions related to administration including typing correspondence and reports and answering telephone.
  2. Responsible for handling projects delegated by administrator on an as needed basis, including implementing systems to improve the programs.
  3. Manage check requests.
  4. Prepare, distribute and collect time cards to forward to central office.
  5. Creates payroll roster for UAC staff
  6. Maintain supply of government forms and tracks reports submitted.
  7. As directed, sets up and arranges meetings called by administrator. Keeps the calendar current and reminds administrator of meetings and appointments.
  8. Relieves the administrator of as much clerical and minor administrative detail as possible.
  9. Performs other related duties, as required by the administrator.
  10. Establishes and maintains the administrators' files and other files and record pertaining to the agency.
  11. Schedules training for staff, including out of city travel arrangements.


Qualifications

Education: AA Degree

Skills: Proficient in Excel, excellent organizational skills and professionalism.

Demonstrated ability to complete assignments in a timely manner.

Ability to take and follow directions carefully.
