We are seeking a full-time Administrative Assistant to support the services provided by the Audit and Compliance Department as listed below at our Central Road Operations Center, located in Bloomsburg, PA.

The Administrative Assistant is responsible for performing a variety of duties to support the Audit Department in order to safeguard bank assets and to ensure compliance with related laws and regulations. Essential responsibilities include the following:
  • Maintains general knowledge of federal and state regulations and laws affecting the audit function to ensure the Bank's compliance.
  • Assists with audits of all departments and functions as determined by the internal audit schedule and documents all necessary information. Focus will be on branch audits.
  • Participates in investigation activities relating to Bank assets as necessary and documents all such investigations.
  • Handles special projects or conducts investigations as directed.
  • Assist with internal audit, compliance, and risk responsibilities such as assisting the Internal Auditor and SVP of Risk and Compliance with ongoing daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual tasks.
  • Cooperates with, participates in, and promotes the adherence to all internal policies, procedures, and practices in support of risk management and overall safety, soundness, and compliance with all regulatory requirements. This includes annual Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) training and complying with all BSA rules and regulations as they pertain to the job position within the Bank.
Requirements: The selected candidate must have the following skills:
  • A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent with specialized banking Education and/or Training preferred.
  • A minimum of one (1) year experience in banking is preferred, specifically working in a branch banking environment.
  • Proficient reading, writing, grammar, and math skills; proficient interpersonal relations and communication skills; moderate report-writing and analytical skills, and proficient PC skills including Microsoft Word and Excel. Must be detail oriented.
  • Must have the ability to travel to alternate locations to assist with audits.
Hours: Monday-Friday, 37.5 hours per week, flexible to work additional hours as needed.
