Job Title: Administrative Assistant

Reports To: Executive Assistant

Location: Office in Bentonville, AR

Status: Part-Time, Non-exempt

Hours: Monday - Friday, 12pm - 5pm(25 hours/week)

Position Summary:

The Administrative Assistant supports the Water for Good team through general administrative assistance, office management and reception, and other duties as assigned. The Administrative Assistant should remain flexible in assigned duties, as they may be asked to assist with tasks in multiple departments.

Responsibilities & Duties Overview:

Support the Water for Good team in tasks related to office management. Duties may include:
  • Coordinate with Water for Good's landlord to maintain the office, including maintaining office supplies, furniture, and equipment
  • General office maintenance and support
  • Manage mail pickup, organization, and distribution
  • Coordinate logistics & hospitality of office meetings and events
  • Run errands
  • Document proofing and printing
  • Work cross-departmentally to support other teams with administrative tasks
  • Provide general support through answering the email inbox, answering the phone, and returning voicemails
  • Support the Donor Relations & Finance teams with the check deposit process, accounts payable invoice entry and management, and petty cash management
  • Support the Executive Assistant with Board of Directors meeting planning and preparation, as needed
  • Support the Senior Leadership team with administrative tasks, as needed
  • Provide travel management support, as needed
  • Other administrative and office duties as assigned
Work Experience & Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:
  • Passion for Water for Good's mission of serving vulnerable communities and children, and seeing an end to the global water crisis
  • 1+ years of administrative experience in an office environment or similar experience
  • Ability to learn new technology quickly
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Highly organized and attentive to detail
  • Proficient with Microsoft office software
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A valid driver's license
  • Legally eligible to work in the United States; no sponsorship will be provided
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 1 - 2 years of experience working with project management & messaging tools such as Asana & Microsoft Teams
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
Physical Qualifications:
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times

Travel Required: Less than 10%
