Job Responsibilities Under direct supervision of the Director of Institutional Effectiveness and Testing and the Director of Excellence, the Administrative Assistant provides comprehensive administrative support to both departments, ensuring efficient operation and coordination of activities related to testing, data collection, analysis, and reporting. This role is crucial in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of institutional data and supporting the continuous improvement of institutional effectiveness.
- Administrative Support: Provides general administrative support including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, handling correspondence, and maintaining office supplies.
- Data Management: Assists in the collection, entry, and maintenance of data related to testing and institutional effectiveness. Ensures data accuracy and confidentiality.
- Report Preparation: Compiles and prepares reports, presentations, and other documents as required. Assists in the analysis and interpretation of data. Communication: Serves as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders. Responds to inquiries and provides information regarding testing and institutional effectiveness.
- Event Coordination: Assists in the planning and coordination of events, workshops, and training sessions related to testing and institutional effectiveness. Record Keeping: Maintains organized and up-to-date records and files. Ensures compliance with institutional policies and procedures. Support Projects: Provides support for special projects and initiatives as assigned by the Director of Institutional Effectiveness and Testing and the Director of Excellence. This reporting component will be 50% for each manager.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Director of Institutional Effectiveness and Testing and Director of Excellence.
Minimum and Additional Requirements High school diploma and work experience that is directly related to the area of employment. Bachelor's degree may be substituted for the related work.
Preferred Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree. Minimum of two (2) years of administrative experience, preferably in an educational or institutional effectiveness setting.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively. Must be able to use a computer, and file and organize materials.
Additional Comments Valid driver's license required. Office setting with occasional travel for meetings or events. Must be able to sit for extended periods. Must be able to move up to 25 lbs.
