Job Summary: The Administrative Assistant is a part-time, hourly position that is responsible for organizing & coordinating select administrative front desk and Brewery Events functions. Additionally, the Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to all guests that visit Terrapin Beer Company and notifying appropriate personnel of their arrival(s). The incumbent will report directly to the Brewery Events Supervisor.
Duties and Responsibilities: • Provide exceptional customer service to all visitors in line with company values and notify applicable employees of their arrival(s). This includes all in-coming phone calls and walk-in business solicitations.
• With direction from the Merchandise & POS Coordinator, stock the gift shop as needed and per planogram.
• Assist with fulfillment of and coordination of cost-effective shipping for all online gift shop orders.
• Manage conference room reservations and set-up.
• Receive and distribute all mail & packages accordingly by department.
• Utilizing discretion, source all organizational office & Brewery Events supplies based upon cost effectiveness & timeliness to deliver to Terrapin and maintain appropriate inventory levels of such at all times.
• Assist walk-in customers with purchase of retail merchandise and process applicable sale(s).
• Coordinate the timely and cost effective shipment of all ad hoc shipping requests by Terrapin Beer Company management team.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of front reception area, retail merchandise area, live music performance area and interior tour space.
• Respond to all general information inquiries through both traditional channels and applicable online formats.
• Must be registered to pour alcohol beverages in the state of Georgia, able to assist in running the bar area and in performing ID checks during all events as directed to by the Brewery Events Manager.
• Steadfastly maintain records of all guests as they enter and exit the building in accordance with organizational safety guidelines.
• Must be able to lift up to 25lbs and able to frequently reach, twist, stoop, crouch, stand and walk.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Knowledge & Skills Requirements: Minimum completion of high school degree and similar job experience. Must be self-motivated, have excellent written skills, verbal communication, and strong leadership skills. This position also requires excellent time management skills as well as very strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Candidates must be proficient in MS Office software including Excel and Word.
Preferred Qualifications: Previous office administrative experience in similar job capacity with 1-3 years' experience. Undergraduate coursework in Accounting, Business or Finance.
Other Requirements: - Minimum of 21 years of age.
