Drum, Loyka & Associates is seeking a candidate to fulfill the role of administrative assistant at our civil engineering and land surveying firm. The ideal applicant will exhibit excellent communication and teamwork skills, be able to take initiative on a variety of projects, and have the time management capabilities necessary to fulfill daily tasks.


Work will be Monday through Friday, 24 - 30 hours per week.


Job duties include a wide array of responsibilities:

Administrative:

  • Answering phone calls and communicating with clients
  • Organizing and filing engineering files
  • Assisting Engineers and Land Surveyors
  • Deliveries
  • Ordering office supplies
  • Compiling schedules

Marketing:

  • Establishing and maintaining proposal files
  • Communicate with government contacts
  • Pursuing and coordinating network opportunities

Database Maintenance:

  • Creating and maintaining customer, project, and vendor databases

Information Systems:

  • Assisting in server maintenance
  • Assisting in maintaining inter-office and external communication systems

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365, with emphasis on Word and Excel
  • Proficiency in Adobe Suites
  • Industry experience is preferred
