Position Overview BizFirst is supporting our client in search of a full-time Administrative Assistant III to support the Chief of Staff and senior leadership across the JPEO-CBRND program. This role will manage day-to-day operational and administrative functions, including managing visitor access, coordinating classified and unclassified meetings, and providing executive-level support for high-profile engagements. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organized, and able to operate independently in a fast-paced environment.

Through innovative transformations, they develop and implement strategies to optimize operations for military departments and agencies across the U.S. Federal Government.
What You will Do: As an Administrative Assistant III, you will serve as the front-line interface for executive-level visitors, maintain access control for the office suite, and coordinate logistics for meetings and events. You will support personnel tracking, manage communications, and assist with shipping and logistics for internal teams. Your responsibilities will span across routine administrative tasks, classified meeting support, and event coordination to ensure seamless daily operations.
Key Responsibilities - Control suite ingress/egress and manage access for visitors and staff.
- Greet, escort, and coordinate visits for senior leadership and external stakeholders including DoD and Congressional representatives.
- Maintain personnel accountability logs, manpower rosters, and Outlook distribution lists; provide monthly updates to leadership.
- Reserve, set up, and manage meeting rooms (classified and unclassified), including teleconferencing and VTC setup.
- Screen incoming calls and visitors; provide policy guidance and assistance as needed.
- Respond to correspondence, prepare confidential materials, and assist with sensitive documentation.
- Order and manage office supplies; assist with exhibit setup for events such as town halls or senior briefings.
- Support shipment logistics, including packaging and transporting equipment for testing or operational use.
- Identify and mitigate security risks related to personnel or asset movement.
- Attend meetings or support activities both in person and virtually, depending on program needs.
Required Qualifications - Experience: At least 1 year of supporting senior executives or high-level office operations, ideally within a DoD or secure environment.
- Security Clearance: Active DoD Secret Clearance required.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with senior leaders and external stakeholders.
- Organization: Proven ability to manage schedules, track personnel data, and handle logistics across multiple priorities.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint, and Word); able to manage calendar invites, rosters, and document tracking.
- Meeting Support: Experience organizing and supporting classified/unclassified meetings, including room setup and secure teleconferencing.
