Administrative Assistants are an essential part of ensuring the smooth operation of Cleveland Clinic. In this role, you will take minutes at ASC Committee and affinity meetings, fulfill clerical tasks at various local facilities, support nine ASC locations with timekeeping and manage projects as indicated by the Nursing Director. You will have the ability to choose a primary location at either Lorain or Twinsburg. Ultimately, your work allows caregivers to focus on patient care and improves coordination between the nursing, administrative and healthcare teams.
This role will require travel to support 9 ASC locations depending on locations needs: The locations are as follows: Beachwood, Lorain, Strongsville, Twinsburg, Main Campus - Cole eye and Pain Management, Marymount, Independence, Wooster and Willoughby Hills.
Mileage reimbursement will be determined based on primary location. Primary location options are: Twinsburg Family Health Center or Lorain Family Health Center.
A caregiver in this position works days from 7:30AM - 4:00PM. A caregiver who excels in this role will:
- Manage and prioritize multiple assignments simultaneously and effectively.
- Act as a liaison between internal and external customers by greeting customers, answering, and triage phone calls.
- Administer calendar and schedule management.
- Compose and prepare a variety of correspondence (e.g., reports, forms, presentation materials, messages, etc.) as required.
- Provide coverage of other areas such as front end, point of service and registration.
- Coordinate management functions and assist in special projects.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Three years of office experience
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite products (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point)
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
- Associate's Degree
- Typing proficiency of 35 wpm with accuracy

Pay Range
Minimum hourly: $16.47
Maximum hourly: $23.61
