Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support our team with tariff-related administrative functions. This position is responsible for processing credits, managing disputes, preparing quotes, and handling general clerical duties. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, task-driven environment and demonstrate strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accurately process tariff-related credits in a timely manner
  • Resolve tariff disputes by coordinating with internal departments and external customers
  • Support the preparation of tariff-related quotes and assist in quoting activities
  • Perform general administrative and clerical tasks including data entry, document filing, and report generation
  • Maintain organized records of tariff transactions, communications, and documentation
  • Collaborate with customer service and sales teams to ensure consistent communication and issue resolution
  • Ensure compliance with internal processes and documentation standards
Required Qualifications
  • Prior experience in an administrative or clerical role (experience with tariffs or finance is a plus)
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data handling
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage shifting priorities in a deadline-driven environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience using ERP or quoting systems
  • Previous exposure to tariff processing, billing, or finance functions
  • Familiarity with compliance or regulatory documentation
Certifications
  • None required; relevant administrative certifications are a plus
