Job Summary We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support our team with tariff-related administrative functions. This position is responsible for processing credits, managing disputes, preparing quotes, and handling general clerical duties. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, task-driven environment and demonstrate strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities - Accurately process tariff-related credits in a timely manner
- Resolve tariff disputes by coordinating with internal departments and external customers
- Support the preparation of tariff-related quotes and assist in quoting activities
- Perform general administrative and clerical tasks including data entry, document filing, and report generation
- Maintain organized records of tariff transactions, communications, and documentation
- Collaborate with customer service and sales teams to ensure consistent communication and issue resolution
- Ensure compliance with internal processes and documentation standards
Required Qualifications - Prior experience in an administrative or clerical role (experience with tariffs or finance is a plus)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data handling
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage shifting priorities in a deadline-driven environment
Preferred Qualifications - Experience using ERP or quoting systems
- Previous exposure to tariff processing, billing, or finance functions
- Familiarity with compliance or regulatory documentation
Certifications - None required; relevant administrative certifications are a plus
