Administrative Assistant for Human Resources
Position Overview:This Administrative Assistant position supports the operations of the Human Resources Department. This position plays a key role in ensuring efficient administrative processes and high-quality service to internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills, strong data management capabilities, and a keen eye for accuracy and confidentiality.
Responsibilities: - Serve as a liaison and contact person for inquiries to the HR department from staff, applicants, and the public.
- Maintain accurate employee records, databases, and digital files in compliance with district policies and legal requirements.
- Assist current employees with course reimbursements, conference approvals, ID badges, and building access management
- Assist with recruitment and onboarding processes, including scheduling interviews, processing background checks, and preparing orientation materials.
- Prepare reports, correspondence, and HR-related documentation with attention to detail and timeliness.
- Support benefits administration by answering basic inquiries and assisting with open enrollment processes.
- Coordinate logistics for HR meetings, trainings, and professional development sessions.
- Assist with the tracking of certifications, licenses, and required documentation for school staff.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and uphold professional integrity at all times.
Position is 20 hours per week
