QUALIFICATIONS: - High School Diploma
- Three years clerical experience
- Experience in operating a variety of word processing and office software
- Experience in working with multiple supervisors preferred
- Recommended by ESC Executive Director
- Any acceptable variations of the above as approved by board of directors
CENTER RESPONSIBILITIES: - Process all personal timekeeping, travel reporting and other paperwork in a timely manner
- Maintain professional attire and grooming appropriate for specific job position.
- Demonstrate punctual and regular attendance on the job
- Reports for work ready to perform responsibilities
- Supports the mission, goals, and objectives of the ESC
- Upholds and adheres to safety rules and policies of the ESC
- Performs professional responsibilities as required by ESC policies, processes, and procedures
- Meets proficiency levels of required technology skills as outlined by supervisor
- Incorporates appropriate technology in daily work and exhibits continual growth in technologies as outlined by supervisor
- Exhibit professionalism in all situations at the ESC
- Develop collaborative and positive relationships with schools and co-workers
- Exhibit planning and leadership on assigned tasks and projects

DEPARTMENT RESPONSIBILITIES: - Ability to handle and see to completion multiple projects simultaneously and on deadline
- Demonstrates positive attitude with excellent interpersonal skills
- Be willing to work as a member of a team but also independently
- Upholds confidentiality of the information processed in all work, if required
- Attends all called meetings including departmental staff meetings, work team meetings, and general staff meetings

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: - Process requisitions and purchase orders for department
- Open incoming mail and sort as necessary
- Prepare and process outgoing mail
- Type and process letters, reports, consultant agreements, interoffice correspondence, and other items
- Place, receive, and transfer telephone calls, record/distribute telephone messages, and maintain an updated address and telephone list
- Print and assemble materials when needed
- Maintain an orderly filing system for records and materials for immediate reference
- Operate office machinery necessary to perform specific job requirements
- Inventory office supplies and equipment and order as necessary
- Make travel arrangements for consultants
- Enter workshop information into escWorks System (including but not limited to room reservations, setup, registration, and evaluation)
- Assist consultants with workshop activities, including but not limited to preparation, setup, registration, and clean up
SPECIAL ASSIGNMENTS: Additional projects as assigned by supervisor of Executive Director
