- DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
- The administrative assistant for Nursing Administration provides clerical support the nursing managers of 2 East, 2 South, and ICU. Duties include but are not limited to, nursing related clerical tasks, audits, environmental rounds, maintenance of logs, managing of work orders, maintains unit downtime procedures, and serves a backup for the Patient Care Tech role during times of need. May handle special projects as assigned. Consistently exercises initiative, independent judgment, attention to detail and courteous customer service
- QUALIFICATIONS
- Professional/Educational
- High School diploma and previous secretarial/administrative support experience is required.
- Healthcare related courses/Certified Nursing Assistant certification preferred
- Proficient with medical/business computer applications: Microsoft Word, Excel & Power Point, Outlook and the Internet.
- Experience with various office equipment including FAX machine, printer, scanning and copy machine.
- Personal
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Evidence of good health, grooming, and professional conduct
- Possess a sense of responsibility, initiative, and honesty
- Ability to multitask and prioritize projects.
- Ability to follow directions accurately
- Desire and ability to cooperate with and/or under the direction of others
Actual pay will be determined by qualifications, experience, and internal equity.
