DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As an Administrative Assistant 2, you will be responsible for coordinating board meeting activities such as agenda preparation, document dissemination, meeting minute review and editing, as well as post-meeting follow-up. Work involves scheduling interviews and conferences between board members, licensees and applicants, and bureau staff as needed. Strong analytical skills will be exercised as you review applications, present exceptional cases to board or legal staff, and determine eligibility of selected applications. You will have the opportunity to develop, maintain, and publish a manual of board laws, rules and regulations, as well as policies and procedures. Efficient communication skills are essential as you will be expected to provide excellent customer service to the public, applicants, licensees, and support work units.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: - Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch. Work schedule may be negotiable.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time (up to 50%), upon successful completion of the probationary period. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: - One year of experience as a staff assistant to an administrative officer or as a technician in a staff service of a large organization; and such training as may have been gained through graduation from a four year college or university; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
