Position is based at 2592 S. 48th Street, Springdale, AR 72762. Position requires flexibility to work 10 hours per week between the hours of 8am to 5pm Monday through Friday.

Job Title: Administrative Assistant 1

SUMMARY: Under direct supervision, the Administrative Assistant 1 greets customers and visitors and directs them to the proper department, and/or notifies other associates of their presence. The incumbent's primary accountability is to assist the branch/department with the flow of customers and phone calls.

What You'll Do at Arvest: (Other duties may be assigned.)

• Greet customers and other visitors, answer questions and route to the proper department or personnel.

• Answer telephone lines; take accurate and complete messages and direct calls to the appropriate personnel.

• Keep the lobby/department area neat and clean to project a professional image.

• Transcribe and type letters, memos, reports, etc., for various personnel in the bank/department as requested.

• Provide routine clerical support as requested.

• Maintain various managers and/or department calendars as requested.

• Assist customers and visitors as needed while ensuring all security measures are followed.

• Attend various meetings, record, type and distribute minutes.

• Understand and comply with bank policy, laws, regulations, and the bank's BSA/AML Program, as applicable to your job duties. This includes but is not limited to; complete compliance training and adhere to internal procedures and controls; report any known violations of compliance policy, laws, or regulations and report any suspicious customer and/or account activity.

Responsibilities:

Toolbox for Success:

• High School or general education diploma (GED) required.

• 4 months previous work experience required.

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite required.

• Previous banking or office experience preferred.

• Relevant military experience is considered for veterans and transitioning service members.

Physical Demands:
