DESCRIPTION OF WORK
In this confidential position, you will oversee the operational functions within the District Executive's office, which encompasses scheduling, filing, gathering information from staff for reports and presentations, and coordinating meetings. You will draft letters, memos, and other correspondence for the District Executive's signature, manage information requests from legislators, the Governor's Office, and the Secretary of Transportation, and prepare reports based on staff input, ensuring timely data submission. Additionally, you will serve as a liaison between the District Executive and various stakeholders, including legislators, their aides, consultants, contractors, county commissioners, township supervisors, the public, and district and county personnel, while independently addressing all inquiries. This role also involves leading district clerical activities, recommending workflow improvements, keeping staff informed of new or updated Federal procedures, developing efficient processes, and providing necessary training to clerical staff.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: - Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4030 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: - Such training as may have been gained through graduation from a four year college or university or any equivalent combination of experience and training.
Additional Requirement: - Must possess a current non-commercial Pennsylvania Class C Driver's license or equivalent which is not under suspension.
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
This position issubject to the provisions of a collective bargaining agreement or memorandum of understanding.
