Position Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Admissions Administrative Analyst to join our university's administrative team. This position serves as the primary source of administrative support for the Office of Admissions. Additionally, the Admissions Administrative Analyst will provide assistance with the daily Call Center operations, as well as budget and procurement processing for the Office of Admissions.

Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Provide Administrative Support to the Admissions Team
    • Manage the Admissions front desk and lobby operations, including greeting guests, handling inquiries, and directing calls.
    • Handle mail processing, including receiving and distributing daily mail, as well as coordinating large mailing projects.
    • Providing administrative support to the Admissions team, ensuring smooth daily operations.
  • Call Center Daily Operations
    • Provide assistance and guidance to the Call Center employees.
    • Assist with answering the University Switchboard during peak times, and managing voicemail distribution.
  • Office of Admissions Budget & Procurement Processing
    • Order office supplies, materials, promotional items, etc.
    • Enter requisitions and manage purchase orders (POs).
    • Provide budget status updates to the Associate Vice Chancellor of Enrollment.
    • Organize required documents pertaining to the Admissions budget and purchases.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer service-oriented approach.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Google Workspace applications, and familiarity with database management systems.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team, demonstrating fl exibility and adaptability.

General Days/Hours:

Monday - Friday
8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Additional hours as requested and/or needed
Regular and reliable attendance

Minimum Qualifications:

An earned high school diploma or GED.

At least 3-5 years experience in administrative roles, preferably in a higher education setting.
