Job Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary contact for the department's hotline, addressing inquiries and providing solutions, while effectively communicating with internal staff and the membership to create excellent service levels.
- Responsible for assisting members with various account service requests, including, but not limited to; trust accounts, business accounts, rep payee accounts, guardian/conservator accounts, joint member changes, beneficiary changes, address changes, sub account changes, name changes, account conversions, fraud account conversions and closed account requests.
- Knowledge of credit union deposit accounts, related processes, and related compliance.
- Serves as the IRA, HSA, Deceased Account, Trust Account, and other special/fiduciary account type expert as a resource for staff.
- Responsible for, and knowledgeable in, all deceased account processing to include IRA/HSA final distributions and differentiate between probate, non-probate, and other situations impacting final account administration.
- Reviews, corrects all daily, monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports generated in-house for membership status, account status, Term Share Certificate Deposits, IRA, and HSAs.
- Controls the disbursement of all returned mail as needed and updates membership good/bad address status.
- Responsible for maintenance of core systems membership letters and forms including form creation and updates.
- Completes research requests at the discretion of members, then both calculates and charges appropriate fee based on policy.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to make decisions in accordance with our policies and procedures.
- Achieves and maintains certifications in IRA's and HSA's.
- One year of relevant working experience in the financial industry.
- Understanding of Individual Retirement Accounts (IRA), Health Savings Accounts (HSA).
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Additional Information:
The pay ranges represent the low and high end of the salary range for this position.
GV 700: $19.00 - $24.52 per hour
