Admin Director Heart Institute Responsibilities:

  • Provides leadership through planning, organizing, coordinating, monitoring, and evaluating the care and services provided by the departments that comprise the Heart & Vascular Institute.
  • Serves in a leadership capacity by supporting St. Joseph's Hospital and BayCare Health System.
  • Works in coordination and collaboration with the leadership of the BayCare System Heart & Vascular Clinical Institute to support best practice, improve patient outcomes, reduce costs and enhance the overall quality of care.
  • Leads efforts to identify opportunities for expanding heart health services including new service lines, clinical research initiatives, and community partnerships.
  • Develops and implements action plans to enhance program growth and access as well as provider productivity.
  • Provides adult and pediatric leadership responsibility for multiple facilities.
  • Creates, implements and monitors goals and objectives for the Health & Vascular Institute.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education Requirements:

  • Required: Master's of Nursing or Master's of Health Administration or Master's Business Administration
  • Preferred: Registered Nurse - State of Florida

Experience Requirements:

  • 5 years of Administration experience; and
  • 3 years of Cardiology experience which includes cardiac surgery, cardiac catheterization, and electrophysiology.

Preferred Experience:

  • 5 years of cardiac surgery, cardiac catheterization, and electrophysiology.
  • Preferred Experience: Transplant
