ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT (12 Months, Full-Time)
Basic Function and Scope of Responsibilities:
The Administrative Assistant will provide crucial administrative support to ensure a productive and efficient office environment. The position requires flexibility for occasional night and weekend hours. Responsibilities include organizational tasks such as answering phone calls, scheduling, booking venues, and preparing training materials.
Principal Responsibilities:
Administrative Support
• Manage the list serve and maintain contacts for outreach.
• Produce and distribute announcements, and flyers for trainings and events.
• Assist in writing reports and organizing collected data with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Maintain precise records, files, and correspondence to document provided services.
Training, Skills, Knowledge, Experience:
• Ability to multitask and handle a variety of projects, including those with flexible night and weekend schedules.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and general computer literacy.
• Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, including in Spanish.
Education Requirements:
• Minimum of a High School Diploma
Working Conditions:
• T ypical office setting with access to necessary technology and privacy. Regular travel to various locations throughout Long Island will be required. Occasionally, work hours during nights and weekends will be needed to meet the demands of the role.
Materials & Equipment:
• Computer, copier, scanner, wireless access, phone, and fax.
