Salary: $965/per Credit (4 credits)
Trinity Washington University is seeking an Adjunct Professor to teach the following course for Spring 2025.
MATH 109: Foundations of Mathematics (4 cr), Tues Thurs Fri 10:30 AM - 11:45 AM;
QUALIFICATIONS: Successful candidates should have earned at least a Master's degree from an accredited institution in mathematics or a related discipline and be able to demonstrate strong teaching skills. Candidates should also be able to demonstrate familiarity with inclusive excellence principles or related pedagogy.
Official transcripts for all degrees earned, sample course syllabi, course evaluations and/or other evidence of teaching effectiveness, and contact information for three professional references will be needed if the candidate is invited to campus for an interview. Knowledge of best teaching practices for foundational math courses is required. Finalists will be invited to campus for an interview and teaching demonstration. Preference given to candidates who demonstrate excellence with engaged and active learning practices and who have experience with first year students.
