Starting Pay Rate: Per Adjunct Faculty Pay Scale Schedule Information: Days/evenings/weekends depending upon course schedule This posting will be used to obtain a pool of qualified candidates for the above subjects. As teaching needs arise, these applications will be reviewed for possible interviews The number of adjunct instructors hired varies from semester to semester, depending upon the needs of the department. Job Description: Instruction of students in the Certified Nursing Assistant training program. Classroom, clinical, laboratory and Alzheimer instruction for Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) students. Theory, clinical, lab and Alzheimer content instruction for students in this program. Education Requirements: A current unencumbered Illinois Registered Nurse license required. Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred. Experience Requirements: Two years of nursing experience with one year focusing on care for the elderly, including Alzheimer's clients. Required Documents: A resume and cover letter are required to complete the application process Electronic copies of transcripts must be attached to your application for full consideration. If you have a current IDPH Train the Trainer including Alzheimer's Certificate, please attach. Current AHA Healthcare Provider CPR card Official transcripts required upon hire Employment is contingent upon Criminal Background Check. Employment sponsorship is not available.
