Academic Year Recruitment Timeline: April 21 - May 9: Applications Open (may close early due to applicant volume)

Advertising Sales division is large and complex, but these are the general business areas. Ad sales at NBCU Advertising & Partnerships is a multifaceted operation that supports clients through various specialized teams. The Client Team builds and maintains relationships with advertisers, while Ad Strategy and Programmatic ensure targeted and data-driven ad placements. Global Planning and Agency Planning focus on media planning across regions and agencies. Digital Sales Operations handles the technical aspects of digital ad delivery, with Account Services providing client support. Creative Partnerships craft innovative ad content, and Sports Sales capitalizes on NBCU's extensive sports portfolio. Finally, Marketing and Brand Partnerships drive collaborative campaigns, while Data, Measurements, Insights analyze performance to optimize strategies.
- Marketing & Brand Partnership: The Miami-based Ad Sales Marketing & Brand Partnerships Creative Team Is focused on creating, developing, and producing innovative and engaging marketing solutions that connect our advertisers' messaging and products with our fans. Laddering up to NBCU Marketing and Brand Partnerships leadership, with offices in NY and LA, the Miami Creative team is focused on Multicultural and Sports Creative, across all NBCU's footprint, and in both English and Spanish.
Qualifications: Qualifications
Basic Requirements: - Must be actively enrolled in a degree-granting program at an accredited institution during the entire duration of the program (September 2025 through April 2026). December 2025 graduates are not eligible for our Academic Year Internship Program.
- Current class standing of sophomore or above (30 credits).
- Must be presently authorized to work for any employer in the United States and must not require work visa sponsorship from NBCUniversal now or in the future to retain authorization to work in the United States.
- Must be available to work 16-24 hours per week from September 15, 2025 - April 17, 2026.
- Must be willing to work in Miami, FL.
For further clarification, candidates currently on any student or exchange visa (e.g. F-1 CPT, F-1 OPT, J-1, M-1) are not eligible to apply unless they will be able to change or adjust to another status that grants work authorization without NBCUniversal sponsorship.
NBCUniversal is an E-Verify company, requiring all employees to have an active Social Security number. Any candidate receiving an internship offer must complete I-9 form with Social Security number within 3 days of hire.
Desired Characteristics: - Students with class standing of junior or above preferred.
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
- Majoring in a Marketing and/or Creative program (e.g., TV or Film Production, Graphic Design, Creative Writing, Marketing, etc.)
- Creative and production skills preferred
- Bilingual (English/Spanish). Strong verbal and written communications skills in both English and Spanish.
- Scriptwriting, narrative, or copy writing experience, ideally in both English and Spanish
The hourly rate for student interns is $17.50.
