A Nocturnist role requires working exclusively overnight shifts. Candidates must be comfortable with a nocturnal schedule and possess the ability to deliver exceptional patient care during nighttime hours People First in El Paso Local Team Collaboration: Join our close-knit, established team of eight physicians and four APPs with the support of a clinical performance nurse at The Hospitals of Sierra Campus. Our diverse group comprises individuals from various backgrounds, providing exceptional collaboration within the team. Our expertise complements the work of the intensivists. This collaborative approach results in a more holistic and efficient approach to patient care. Qualifications: Graduate degree from an accredited nurse practitioner program. Nurse practitioner board certification Two years minimum APP hospitalist experience. Practice in the Heart of the Community Flexible Scheduling: This is a nocturnist role, working 7 pm-7 am, with a 7-on/7-off model. Most hospitalist team members prioritize spending quality time with family and enjoying the outdoors. This shared value of work-life balance is reflected in our flexible work arrangements. Key Responsibilities: We welcome the challenge of complex cases and work in an open ICU with intensivist coverage during the day and at night (our team is not expected to perform procedures).
