Join the MercyOne Family. We are looking to hire a Registered Nurse (RN).

As a House Supervisor at MercyOne, you will coordinate the care provided in the assigned area of responsibility. Supports operations and services to facilitate maximum quality, cost efficiency and productivity. Provides leadership to organizational wide patient care areas ensuring the quality of care and optimizing operational effectiveness. Utilizes skills in assessing, planning, organizing, and evaluating the provision of patient care. Is instrumental in promoting quality of life for patients, personnel and the community served.

Schedule:

Three 12 hour shifts, Nights 7pm-7am, weekend and holiday rotation

General Requirements:
  • Knows, understands, incorporates, and demonstrates the Trinity Health Mission, Vision, and Values in behaviors, practices, and decisions.
  • Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide service/care appropriate to the age of the patients served, in accordance with MercyOne standards.
  • Makes decisions based on knowledge, experience, and the ability to forecast using information management and relevant data.
  • Promotes practices to maintain an efficient and effective work force through staffing model development recognizing patient acuity, and competence of the staff, gives employees appropriately challenging assignments.
  • Must possess excellent verbal and written communications skills, presentation skills, advanced analytical skills, be well organized and maintain a highly professional manner and appearance.
  • Strong interpersonal, consultative and relationship building skills to initiate and develop productive collaborative partnership with all levels of leadership across the organization. Ability to effectively influence results, garner support and tactfully manage complex relationships within and across the organization. Extremely high level of diplomacy and tact are required. Ability to read the subtle nuances of situation and react/plan accordingly.
  • Must be comfortable operating in a collaborative, shared leadership environment.
  • Must possess a personal presence that is characterized by a sense of honesty, integrity, and caring with the ability to inspire and motivate others to promote the philosophy, mission, vision, goals, and values of Trinity Health.
Education:
  • Is a Registered Nurse maintaining a current Iowa license. B.S.N. required.
  • Requires a minimum of one-year relevant work experience.
