Hampton Ridge Healthcare is seeking an Activity Assistant to join our team. We currently have both part-time and full-time
EVENING AND WEEKEND (NON NEGOTIABLE) positions available. Holidays are a must. Experience is a plus, but will train the right candidate.
Responsibilities: - Assists in planning, developing and implementing Activity Programs.
- Encourages hobbies and activities that the resident enjoys and is capable of participating in.
- Make routine visits to residents who do not attend activities.
- Creates an atmosphere of warmth and caring.
Qualifications: - High School diploma
- Previous customer service experience is required.
- Must be outgoing, self-motivated, energetic and must possess good communication skills.
- Must be able to easily build a strong rapport with senior citizens.
- Must have an aptitude for and some training in art and craft type projects.
