Activities Assistant $17.00 - $19.00 Full Time (Includes Some Weekends and Holidays) Generations Healthcare is in search of an Activities Assistant to join our team. The primary role of the Activities Assistant position is to plan, coordinate and implement engaging, entertaining, and therapeutic activity programs to meet the residents' needs. Development and evaluation of recreational, social, intellectual, emotional and spiritual programs, in accordance with the resident's assessment and care plan, and as may be directed by supervisors.

Essential Duties: - Delivery of Services and Programs for Resident Activities.
- Resident/Family/Client/Guest/Staff Relations.
- Activity Planning.
- Regulatory Compliance.
- Volunteer Management in absence of Supervisor.
Qualifications: - Ability to demonstrate respect for and patience with retirement age residents, and desire to enhance residents' lives.
- Ability to utilize Microsoft Word, Excel, and Publisher.
- Focused attention to detail and the ability to effectively handle multiple items/tasks, prioritize as required and adapt favorably to changing priorities.
- Effective ability to make appropriate judgments and decisions, in a timely manner and within the context of the situation at hand.
- Ability to effectively respond to emergency and/or crisis situations.
- Ability to take initiative and be a self-starter.
- Demonstrated ability to follow written and verbal direction in English.
- This position requires the successful completion of a background check, pre-employment physical, and drug screening as part of the hiring process.
