Position: Activities Assistant
Employment Type: Part-Time Saturday and Sunday 9:30am-4:30pm

What You'll Do:
  • Plan, organize, and lead a variety of engaging activities and programs.
  • Foster meaningful relationships with Residents, ensuring their interests and preferences are at the heart of all events.
  • Collaborate with a passionate team to promote a positive and lively atmosphere.
  • Assist in setting up recreational spaces and materials for activities.
  • Encourage and motivate residents to participate, ensuring everyone feels included and valued.
  • Maintain a safe and supportive environment for all participants.

Requirements

Education, Training, and Experience:
  • High School Graduate or equivalent required.
  • Experience working with senior groups, or in leading/assisting with group activities preferred.
  • Knowledge of and experience with various types of arts and crafts preferred.
Specific skills, knowledge, and abilities:
  • Ability to organize and perform assignments with minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to work cooperatively with others in the department and facility.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Basic computer knowledge is needed.

Salary Description

$15.00-$21.00
