Position: Activities Assistant
Employment Type: Part-Time Saturday and Sunday 9:30am-4:30pm

What You'll Do: - Plan, organize, and lead a variety of engaging activities and programs.
- Foster meaningful relationships with Residents, ensuring their interests and preferences are at the heart of all events.
- Collaborate with a passionate team to promote a positive and lively atmosphere.
- Assist in setting up recreational spaces and materials for activities.
- Encourage and motivate residents to participate, ensuring everyone feels included and valued.
- Maintain a safe and supportive environment for all participants.

Requirements
Education, Training, and Experience: - High School Graduate or equivalent required.
- Experience working with senior groups, or in leading/assisting with group activities preferred.
- Knowledge of and experience with various types of arts and crafts preferred.
Specific skills, knowledge, and abilities: - Ability to organize and perform assignments with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to work cooperatively with others in the department and facility.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Basic computer knowledge is needed.
Salary Description
$15.00-$21.00
