Our Active Living Assistants (Drivers) are responsible for: - Developing Activities:
- Collaborating with the Active Living Program Director to design and implement activities suitable for residents transitioning from AL to Memory Care.
- Delivering, leading, or conducting program activities effectively.
- Coordinating at least one family activity per month.
- Presenting a professional demeanor that embodies service, goodwill, and genuine interest in residents' needs.
- Familiarizing yourself with residents in the community.
- Observing residents' ability to perform daily ADLs and social skills, reporting potential issues or opportunities to appropriate staff.
- Encouraging and motivating residents in all areas, assisting when necessary.
- Participating in all employer-provided training.
- Assuming duties of Activities staff in their absence.
Skill Requirements: - Maintain confidentiality of employer, Team Members, and residents.
- Follow written and verbal instructions.
- Accurately maintain all department-related records.
- Effectively communicate ideas both verbally and in writing.
- Utilize active listening skills when engaging with residents and Team Members.
- Represent and promote activities and programs as a team member.
- Organize and manage both information and time effectively.
If you are someone with: - High School diploma required; College Degree or equivalent preferred.
- One to two years of related experience, training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A valid state drivers license and a clean driving record.
- Experience in social activity involvement (preferred).
- Senior living experience (preferred).
