Activities Assistant

The Waterford at Virginia Beach is seeking an additional experienced candidate to help with our residents leading an enriched and active life. The ideal candidate has a creative mind to help think outside the box with different activities, crafts, and decorations of the Community at beginning of each month. Will provide exceptional customer service and care. Interacts with residents, families, staff, and other visitors in a pleasant, respectful and courteous. Helps to develop programming based on the resident preferences & take an active role in planning events and excursions. Must be able to work flexible hours (including weekends and some holidays).

Education and Experience:

• High school graduate

• 1 year of Activity or Recreation Services experience preferred

Skill/ knowledge requirements:

• Must have a valid driver's license and be subject to MVR review, annually

• Working knowledge of basic computer applications preferred
