Active Directory Engineer (TS/SCI required) with Security Clearance

Position: Hybrid-Cloud Platform Engineer (TS/SCI required) Location: Springfield, VA Clearance: TS/SCI required Job Summary
We are seeking a Hybrid-Cloud Platform Engineer to support an IC customer/contract in Springfield, VA. This position requires a TS/SCI clearance and eligibility to obtain a CI polygraph. Specific Duties and Responsibilities: O&M of existing Red Hat OpenShift environment across multiple security domains in both Cloud and datacenter (vSphere) environments
Support OpenShift operators and frameworks including Crossplane, Kyverno, RedHat GitOps
Deploy OpenShift to new sites as they come online
Work with internal and external teams to understand integration requirements and scale existing platforms to meet them
Work with Security to ensure ongoing compliance and develop secure solutions
Support data services including RabbitMQ, Redis, PostgreSQL, Elastic Stack
Required Skills: Prior experience building and maintaining Platform as a Service offerings via Cloud based providers
Strong understanding of RHEL/CentOS Linux distributions
Experience deploying and managing RedHat OpenShift in a cloud and/or vSphere environment
Strong knowledge of Amazon Web Services
Experience in automating tasks using scripted languages such as Python, Bash, PowerShell, or Perl
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology
Familiarity with DevOps development processes and Continuous Integration tools: GitLab, Jenkins, Nexus Education/Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Programming, Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience
10+ years IT experience
5+ years experience with Platform as a Service Offerings (e.g. RedHat OpenShift, Tanzu, etc)
Desired Certifications: AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner
