As an Acquisition Specialist, you will support the Ship's Signal Exploitation Equipment (SSEE) Fielded Systems program leadership in modernizing the Navy's shipboard and shore sites. Your role involves managing fielding plans, collaborating with installation teams, tracking program funding, and ensuring timely execution of budgets. You will also analyze risk, track performance metrics, and provide strategic recommendations to improve cost, schedule, and execution. This position requires strong program management experience and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders. Key Responsibilities
Program & Project Management
Support the SSEE Family of Systems (FoS) fielding plans
Track and manage program office installation tasks using DoD systems
Oversee cost, schedule, and performance of multiple projects Collaboration & Communication
Work with installation teams, finance offices, and program managers
Conduct risk analysis, status updates, and critical path assessments
Prepare documentation and presentations for key stakeholders Budget & Performance Oversight
Monitor installation funding execution per fiscal year budgets
Review installation estimates and adjudicate funding issues
Ensure compliance with Navy modernization processes Required Qualifications
Experience: 4+ years in program or project management (preferably with Navy, NAVWAR, or PEO C4I programs)
Familiarity with NAVWAR/PEO installation tools (e.g., SPIDER)
Experience managing cost, schedule, and performance in the Defense Acquisition System Technical & Policy Knowledge:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Understanding of DoD/SECNAV 5000 instructions
Knowledge of Navy Modernization Process (NMP) Education & Certifications:
BA or BS degree (Required)
Experience supporting NAVWAR, NAVSEA, or NAVAIR is a plus
DAWIA Level III in Program Management or PMP Certification (Preferred)
