AMERICAN SYSTEMS is an employee-owned federal government contractor supporting national priority programs through our strategic solutions in the areas of Information Technology, Test & Evaluation, Program Mission Support, Engineering & Analysis, and Training. Responsibilities Provide weapons systems acquisition and program management expertise to inform the development and implementation of Test and Evaluation (T&E) related acquisition policies, processes, and procedures.
Coordinate with stakeholders across the acquisition and engineering enterprise to obtain buy-in on T&E initiatives.
Involved through the entire acquisition life cycle, from pre-award planning through solicitation preparation, contract award, contract administration and contract close-out.
Applies knowledge of the defense acquisition process in the analysis and improvement of acquisition process policy and procedures to devise strategies for deploying and implementing new acquisition policy initiatives and measuring the effectiveness of implementation.
Uses quantitative analytical techniques to assess system acquisition process issues and develop risk reduction/mitigation approaches for improving acquisition/program planning, control, and execution.
Participates in developing acquisition plans, source selection documents (including evaluation criteria), Independent Government Cost Estimates, justifications and approvals, synopses, and requests for proposals/quotes/bids.
Assists government procurement agencies develop acquisition strategies, work statements, evaluation plans and qualify vendors. Qualifications Over 10 years of related acquisition experience
Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field
Active TS/SCI clearance

The salary range for this position is USD $107,800.00/Yr. - USD $180,100.00/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
