Acquisition Management Analyst Job Category: Consulting Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: Secret Employee Type: Regular Percentage of Travel Required: Up to 10% Type of Travel: Continental US The Opportunity: CACI is seeking an experienced Acquisition Management Analyst (Senior) to support our Maritime Industrial Base Program. In this role, you will provide comprehensive acquisition, analytical, and program management support to senior-level executives. You will be responsible for pre-award and post-award contracting and procurement activities, ensuring compliance with federal acquisition regulations and best practices. Your expertise in government contracting, procurement agencies, and financial analysis will drive strategic acquisition decisions and enhance operational efficiency in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment. Responsibilities: Provide daily acquisition and program management support to senior-level executives, including business research analysis, valuation strategies, and record management to support acquisition decisions.
Perform pre-award and post-award contracting and procurement support, including drafting solicitations, coordinating requirements and funding documents, conducting market research, and qualifying vendors.
Support source selection activities, including assisting with technical and past performance evaluations and preparing source selection memoranda and decision documents.
Conduct proposal cost and price analysis, ensuring compliance with Cost Accounting Standards, rate agreements, and material management system approvals.
Develop and apply quantitative analytical techniques to assess acquisition process issues and implement risk reduction/mitigation strategies for improving acquisition planning, execution, and control.
Prepare and manage award documents, contract modifications, and post-award administration, ensuring contract compliance and performance monitoring.
Oversee the management and administration of complex contracts from award through closeout, supporting acquisitions for supplies, services, construction, research and development, information technology, and major weapon systems. Qualifications: Required: Active SECRET Clearance.
Over 10 years of relevant experience in acquisition management, contracting, or procurement with a MA/MS degree (additional years of experience may substitute for the degree requirement).
Extensive knowledge of the Federal Government acquisitions process, policies, and regulations to support acquisition policy development and process improvement.
Experience in pre-award and post-award contracting, including solicitation development, vendor qualification, market research, cost analysis, and contract modifications.
Strong financial, analytical, and record management skills, with the ability to assess acquisition risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and financial analysis tools for acquisition tracking, reporting, and decision support. - What You Can Expect: A culture of integrity. Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
