We are currently seeking an Acquisition Analyst to join our team based in Arlington, Virginia, supporting PEO IWS 3.0. This position is hybrid, and requires 3 days on-site in Crystal City (Arlington), VA. What you'll do: PEO IWS 3.0 designs, produces, fields and maintains naval surface weapons systems. The Acquisition/Contracts Analyst will provide program management support as well as contracts expertise to support ACAT IC and ACAT II acquisition planning and execution. Responsibilities: Provide DoD contracts expertise to support Acquisition Category (ACAT) IC and ACAT II acquisition planning and execution, including support of multiyear procurement (MYP) and Advanced Procurement (AP)/Economic Ordering Quantity (EOQ)
Provide program management support, including program milestones and reviews, reporting requirements (e.g. DAES, SAR), and Request for Information (e.g. Congressional RFIs)
Author, support and review for quality, completeness and consistency various contract and acquisition documents: (Class) Justification & Approvals, Acquisition Plan (in accordance with NMCARs) Statements of Work, Statements of Objectives, Technical Instructions, and Naval CHINFOs (where required)
Facilitate the routing of contract documents, track and report the stakeholder review and signature process
Coordinate and review Purchase Requisition (PR) drafts for new contract requirements and modifications to established contracts. Input PR and modification information into SPS system
Track post-award contract and CLIN status to include tracking burn rates, remaining funding, color of money, PoP expirations and recommend corrective actions as required
Track all in-process contract actions; facilitate and report contract action meetings
Update weekly briefs, maintain records management, and provide meeting support
Provide quick turn-around research & response for data calls
Attend meetings and program reviews, assist with compiling presentations, written materials, and/or electronic communications as required
Travel domestically and internationally, provide in-person support at MBC and client sites, and obtain and maintain professional certifications and security clearances as required by MBC and/or MBC's clients. These requirements are subject to change without advance notice at the discretion of MBC and MBC's clients
Qualifications: Experience creating and maintaining Class Justification & Approvals (CJ&A), Statement of Work (SOW), technical instructions and GFE
Prior Acquisition Category IC and II planning and execution
Demonstrated ability to support Multi-year Procurement (MYP) and Advanced Procurement (AP)/Economic Ordering quantity (EOQ)
Prior experience with program management support
Bachelor's degree from an institution accredited in the United States PLUS 5 years of relevant experience. (A master's degree or an associate's degree and 10 years' experience may be substituted)
Active Secret Security clearance
Proficiency using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong verbal and written interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally using a credit card or prepaid debit card as required by MBC and/or clients
