Acoustic Sales Project Manager is a key member of the team, increasing sales and ensuring the highest level of customer service. This position must utilize skills including team-based interaction, presentation skills, project management, goal setting & administration. This position requires innovative thinking in order to achieve constant improvements by streamlining sales initiatives.
Job Specific Responsibilities - The Acoustic Sales Project Manager will drive sales revenue growth
- Uses knowledge of insulation, acoustics and labeling products and capabilities to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities in new business markets.
- Develop sales forecasting
- Identify new markets and create a strategy to succeed in those markets
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with architects, acoustical consultants, contractors, and facility managers.
- Lead on-site client meetings, acoustic assessments, and solution presentations.
- Lead innovation efforts to improve business performance
- Create and execute a 5 year sales plan
- Improve internal sales processes and business flow
- Manage and execute projects as they align with organizational strategy, budgets and timelines while delivering successful outcomes
- Improve customer experience
- Provide input for establishing product pricing
- Lead customer sales negotiations
Qualifications/Experience: - Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or engineering or related
- A successful background in sales and project management
- Ability to read blueprints and translate acoustic requirements into product solutions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics or similar CRM Systems.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.
Preferred Qualifications: - 3+ years of experience in architectural acoustics, construction sales, or acoustic treatment design.
- Experience with acoustic modeling software (e.g., EASE, Odeon) or familiarity with acoustic metrics and control strategies.
- Background in soundproofing, noise reduction, or reverberation control for commercial environments.
- Knowledge of building codes and ASTM acoustic testing standards.
- Experience in design software, Adobe Creative cloud, 3d design software.
- Additional Education in by AIA, GBCI and/or IDCEC.
This Role: - Reports to the General Manager.
- Salary position with no commissions.
- May occasionally travel domestically to customers or trade shows.
- Potential for growth into a leadership role - Selects, develops, leads, and manages a team of employees, including overseeing their work and motivating the team toward common goals.

This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. At times, the employee may be exposed to airborne particulates, moving mechanical parts and vibrations on the production floor. The noise level can be loud at times.
