Title: ACI Network Operations Engineer (Infrastructure)
Contract : Convert to FT after 6 months
Location : New York City 100% on-site and convert to 4/days week on site after 3-6 months
Reports to: Director of Network Operations
Key skills: Aci and Fortinet, Financial experience, Load balancing and Upgrades
Local candidates strongly preferred; interview will be f-f for final round (after 3-4 video rounds)
Summary:
Seeking a Network Operations Engineer to support network infrastructure, including WAN, LAN, WLAN, Cisco ACI, load balancing, firewalls, proxies, BlueCat DNS, and monitoring tools.
Responsibilities:
- Implement, maintain, and support network infrastructure.
- Manage daily support of LAN, WAN, WLAN, Cisco ACI, firewalls, proxies, load balancers, and DNS.
- Monitor and optimize network, DNS (BlueCat), and tools like Extrahop, OpsRamp, Splunk, SolarWinds, and BackBox.
- Escalate critical production issues as needed.
- Participate in a 24/7/365 on-call rotation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of experience in mission-critical network environments.
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments with real-time data and trading.
- Vendor-neutral or vendor-specific certifications/training preferred.
- Basic Windows and Linux administration knowledge.
- Scripting and automation experience.
