Accounts Receivables Specialist

Job Summary:

The Accounts Receivable Specialist is responsible for managing and overseeing customer accounts to ensure accurate and timely collection of outstanding invoices. This role involves invoicing, reconciling accounts, maintaining accurate records, and communicating with clients to resolve billing issues. The specialist ensures that the organization receives payments for goods and services and records these transactions accordingly.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Generate and send out invoices to customers in a timely manner
  • Process incoming payments and apply them accurately to customer accounts
  • Monitor accounts to identify outstanding debts and aging receivables
  • Follow up with customers regarding overdue payments
  • Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies or payment disputes
  • Maintain up-to-date billing system and customer records
  • Prepare regular reports on accounts receivable status and aging analysis
  • Assist with month-end closing activities and audit requests
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and relevant regulations

Qualifications:
  • 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or a related accounting field
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Full-time position, office based
