Responsibilities:- Managed accounts receivable in a fast-paced environment, using client portals like US Foods and Walmart.
- Posted cash receipts from lockbox and local deposits, ensured timely collections, and maintained customer accounts within terms.
- Handled new customer setups, processed applications, and checked credit references.
- Addressed customer inquiries, processed payments, monitored aging reports, and reconciled accounts at month-end.
- Investigated short payments, made adjustments with sales approval, and maintained records of deductions and monthly adjustments.
- Prepared weekly AR aging reports for the CEO and collaborated with collections on overdue accounts.
- Maintained a customer COI log, requested Certificates of Insurance, and posted beef commission invoices.
- Ensured financial security through adherence to accounting controls and worked both independently and with other departments.
Qualifications
- 5+ years in AR with experience in Microsoft Office and Canopy.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively.
Pay Details: $26.00 to $30.00 per hour
