This role provides operational support to the accounting department by tracking, monitoring, and maintaining critical contract databases and ensuring accurate gross-to-net activity reporting (rebates, chargebacks, Medicaid, billbacks, etc.). Prior industry experience in pharmaceuticals is required. Must also be able to work fully onsite in Princeton, NJ area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze pricing and contract details, maintain databases, and ensure accurate and timely reporting of gross-to-net calculations.
- Manage and reconcile customer accounts to reduce excess deductions related to disallowable returns.
- Collaborate with third-party providers to update pricing master data and assist with deduction management.
- Generate monthly returns reports to identify variances, manage policy exceptions, and understand return activity trends.
- Support audits by providing detailed explanations of gross-to-net deductions, returns processing, and other key accounting elements.
- Create ad-hoc reporting and participate in cross-functional projects as needed.
- Assist commercial teams in preparing and analyzing budgets and forecasts.
