Accounts Receivable Specialist - Real Estate - New Jersey
A successful Central NJ based owner and operator of commercial real estate seeks an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist. This is a stable and profitable company that owns a large portfolio of commercial and residential properties.
Responsibilities:
- Generate monthly rent rolls and tenant billing
- Apply cash receipts and reconcile tenant accounts
- Record journal entries for cash activity
- Manage outstanding invoices and directly interface with tenants on collection matters and dispute resolution
- Prepare and provide timely and accurate payment and account status reports
- Review lease abstracts for communication with tenants
- Perform special projects as needed
Requirements:
- Experience with office or retail properties a must
- 3+ years of experience with full cycle AR, billing, and collections
- Exposure to Yardi a plus
- Polished and professional, able to interface with all levels of staff
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
Compensation: $70,000 - $80,000 plus bonus, 401k match, comprehensive health benefits and many other valuable perks
