Accounts Receivable Specialist (B2B Collections)

LHH is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Receivable Specialist with a primary focus on business-to-business (B2B) collections. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and collecting outstanding invoices from our corporate clients, ensuring timely payments, and maintaining positive client relationships. This position is temp to hire and will pay between $20 and $24/hr.

Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and manage accounts receivable balances, ensuring timely collection of outstanding invoices.
  • Communicate with corporate clients via phone, email, and written correspondence to follow up on overdue payments.
  • Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to client invoices and payments.
  • Maintain accurate records of all collection activities and client communications.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to address any billing or payment issues.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on accounts receivable status and collection efforts.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the collections process.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports related to accounts receivable.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in accounts receivable and B2B collections.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
