Accounts Receivable/ Payable Clerk in Fresno, CA
As an Accounts Receivable/ Payable Clerk you will:
- Process and post cash receipts, remote deposits, and collections.
- Set up new customer accounts and ensure compliance with credit insurance requirements.
- Verify and process invoices, ensuring accurate payment scheduling and authorization.
- Manage accounts receivable, including computing charges, issuing refunds, and identifying delinquent accounts.
- Follow up on outstanding balances, notify customers of insufficient payments, and escalate issues as needed.
- Maintain accounting ledgers by accurately posting transactions and reconciling statements.
- Investigate and resolve account discrepancies by reviewing documentation and issuing necessary adjustments.
- Ensure financial security by adhering to internal controls and best accounting practices.
- Maintain organized financial records and documentation.
- Contribute to team success by collaborating with colleagues and supporting continuous process improvements.
This is a Full Time Opportunity
- Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
The ideal candidate will have:- Strong understanding of accounts receivable and payable processes.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze financial data.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Pay Range: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour (based on experience)
Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
