Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts receivable management within a healthcare environment. Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in staff supervision and development. Experience working with large claim volumes and financial data. Proficient in AR software, EHR/EMR systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and in-depth knowledge of Excel. Thorough understanding of accounts receivable functions such as billing, collections, and posting. Excellent supervisory and analytical skills. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. General knowledge of X12 EDI (837, 835, 270, etc ) Ability to motivate staff, build relationships across departments, and work in a fast-paced environment Strong understanding of healthcare billing regulations and compliance requirements. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of payer contract negotiations and reimbursement methodologies.
