Job Title: Accounts Receivable (AR) Manager
Location: Austin, Texas ONSITE
Job Type: Full time position
Reports to: CFO

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly driven and logical Accounts Receivable (AR) Manager to join our finance team. This role is ideal for a proactive and autonomous thinker who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about mentoring others while improving systems and processes. The ideal candidate will bring technical expertise, emotional intelligence, and a commitment to excellence in managing the full AR cycle.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the full-cycle accounts receivable process, including invoicing, collections, cash application, and reconciliations.

Monitor AR aging, analyze trends, and resolve outstanding receivables with a strategic and data-driven approach.

Own the integrity of AR reporting and support month-end close activities including journal entries and account reconciliations.

Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success, and Finance teams to ensure timely and accurate billing and collections.

Identify and implement process improvements and system enhancements within Salesforce and Sage Intacct.

Serve as a mentor and leader to AR staff, fostering a culture of ownership, accountability, and professional growth.

Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with company policies and relevant accounting standards.

Produce and present key AR metrics and dashboards using Excel and business intelligence tools.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required).

5+ years of progressive AR or general accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management capacity.

Strong analytical and logical reasoning skills with a problem-solving mindset.

Advanced proficiency in Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, financial modeling).

Hands-on experience with Salesforce and Sage Intacct (required).

Demonstrated ability to work independently and take initiative in ambiguous or evolving situations.

Proven track record of developing and mentoring high-performing teams.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
