Job Description:Accounting Specialist We are an experienced and team-driven materials supplier for the construction industry, servicing our trade partners, direct-to-consumer, and commercial customers.
We are seeking an Accounting Specialist with a background in accounts receivable, strong organizational skills, and great eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities:- Process and monitor incoming payments and secure revenue by verifying and posting receipts
- Reconcile discrepancies and resolve billing issues with customers promptly
- Generate and send out invoices, as well as follow up on overdue accounts
- Maintain accurate records of customer transactions and interactions
- Collaborate with other departments to address customer inquiries and resolve payment discrepancies
- Prepare and analyze accounts receivable reports for management
Qualifications:- Degree preferred but flexible for someone with great experience.
- Proven skills in Accounts Receivable Specialist or similar role
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, emphasis on Excel
- Sage100 experience is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
