Job Description:
Accounting Specialist
We are an experienced and team-driven materials supplier for the construction industry, servicing our trade partners, direct-to-consumer, and commercial customers.
We are seeking an Accounting Specialist with a background in accounts receivable, strong organizational skills, and great eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Process and monitor incoming payments and secure revenue by verifying and posting receipts
2. Reconcile discrepancies and resolve billing issues with customers promptly
3. Generate and send out invoices, as well as follow up on overdue accounts
4. Maintain accurate records of customer transactions and interactions
5. Collaborate with other departments to address customer inquiries and resolve payment discrepancies
6. Prepare and analyze accounts receivable reports for management

Qualifications:

1. Degree preferred but flexible for someone with great experience.
2. Proven skills in Accounts Receivable Specialist or similar role
3. Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
4. Proficient in Microsoft Office, emphasis on Excel
5. Sage100 experience is a plus.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
7. Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
