Accounts Receivable Clerk LHH Is looking for an accounts receivable clerk for a client in the Greater Cincinnati area. Ideal candidates will have intermediate Microsoft Excel skills, experience working an in-box in an accounting environment or similar, and excellent communication skills. This position is Temp to Hire and will pay between $18 and $22/hr.
Job Duties: - Process and manage billing for clients and projects.
- Monitor and respond to emails in the accounts receivable inbox.
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure accurate invoice and payment tracking.
- Maintain and update customer files with relevant information and documentation.
- Handle lien waivers and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
- Work closely with field representatives to resolve payment issues and discrepancies.
- Prepare and distribute regular accounts receivable reports.
- Reconcile accounts and investigate discrepancies.
- Assist in the development and implementation of accounts receivable policies and procedures.
- Provide support during audits and financial reviews.
Requirements: - Must have intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
- Prior experience managing an in-box for an accounting department.
- At least 1-2 years of accounting experience
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage a heavy workload.
